    * Long Inhalation of Oxygen is Safe?

Astronauts say that their brains seem to work considerably faster in space, because inhaling 100% pure oxygen activates brain cells more than usual. For the benefit of mankind astronauts work in space inhaling pure oxygen. However modern men, who ought to be enjoying the benefits of civilization, are tottering and soaking with chemicals in the jostling life of the city. Air pollution is accelerated by deforesting a large oxygen factory recklessly.
Modern structures are mostly gray concrete masses blocked on all sides, and air circulation is poor. Moreover, air conditioners make thing worse. Besides, modern men cannot help having synthetic food coloring and preservatives in every meal and it overtaxes their digestive system. A body needs a great deal of oxygen: heart malfunction caused by the lack of exercise weakens the breathing activity and causes Hypoxemic which is the very origin of all disease.

I. THE ADVANCE OF THE CIVILIZATION AND VARIOUS SYMPTOMS FROM THE LACK OF OXYGEN

1. Hypoxemic (deficiency of oxygen supply)

Cancer is the leading cause of death both in Korea and in Japan. (refer to Table 1) That is why many people pay attention to cancer. But we must not neglect that heart disease is rapidly increasing. Gradually, our hearts are unknowingly weakened.

Dr. å¯Ï¢çÈᦠasserts in his book. The origin of all disease is from hypoxemia." It means that cancer or heart disease is caused by the lack of oxygen in cells.

The noblest in medicine, Dr, Otto Heinrich Warburg, also states, "Cancer is from hypoxemia." "Metabolism disorder from the lack of oxygen" is a matter of common theory in modern medicine.

No cell in the body can survive without absorbing oxygen. Heart disease, often called a disease incidental to civilization, attacks people, regardless of their' gender or age. The fact is that one per 2.5 people die of stroke or myocardial infarction.

Suicide by businessmen, politicians, examinees. etc. is often caused by fatigue and neurosis(melancholia) from overstraining of one's nerves; this is a predisposing factor of hypoxemia.

As civilization progresses nature and human beings are unconsciously becoming more hypoxemic.

A weak heart, however, can be revives and rejuvenated to its normal function by providing the heart muscle with a large quantity of oxygen. Therefore, it is the most important point in terms of health to improve one's physical constitution by inhaling an enough amount of fresh air constantly.

2. Causes of Being Hypoxemic

Men during the primitive ages were physically trained so that they could hunt in the mountains and wild fields or big game at the risk of their lives. But today, everything is so modernized that they are deprived of activity. We now drive, even for short distances, and taking the elevator or escalator instead of walking up and down the stairs, and life becomes more comfortable.

Diet has also considerably changed. The balanced diet of wild animals and plants according to the instinct during ancient civilization... On modern men's tables are rich and appetizing dishes. But modern men choose only what they want among the dishes and overeat. Moreover, most of the foods are not natural. Meats such as beef, pork's, chickens, and eggs are obtained by feeding the animals chemicals. Vegetables and fruits are cultivated with chemical fertilizer and other agricultural pesticides. And various instant foodstuff and frozen foods are all artificial.

Air pollution is also a serious problem. Deforestation of the forest, the origin of oxygen, and consumption of oxygen by the increasing number of jets and thermoelectric power plants accelerate the lack of oxygen supply. Furthermore, the air circulation of modern buildings are poor and air conditioners pollute the air also. As a result, every cell in the body starts to suffer from hypoxemia caused by a deficient supply of oxygen.

Overeating puts a strain on our digestive organs and other internal organs, and it generates poisonous wastes in the body. To excrete this wastes, a great amount of oxygen supply is needed.

Also, our body needs an abundant oxygen supply to neutralize synthetic food coloring, preservatives, and artificial sweeteners which people take everyday unwillingly, overtaxing their livers, stomach and intestines. This causes constipation which causes the accumulation of carbon monoxide in the body, which in turn causes disease.

As transportation methods are advanced, life style becomes more comfortable. The lack of exercise weaken a body and causes a lack of oxygen supply which finally results in poor blood circulation by the weakened breathing activity. As mentioned above, unknowingly, our bodies are worsening to a hypoxemia condition.

II. BODY AND OXYGEN

1. Brain and Oxygen

The brain consists of about 14.5 billion brain cells and is the central control of the body. For the normal activity of the brain, it needs an ample supply of oxygen.

The consumption of oxygen in the brain increase when we exercise and concentrate. A brain always needs an ample supply of oxygen and the blood circulation to the brain for providing the oxygen is considerable - about 2,000l equivalent to 10 drums of 200l a day. This is about 400 times the whole blood supply to the body, when the brain is deprived of oxygen, it immediately causes a serious problem; the brain stops working (physiologically within 5 minutes), and in 30 seconds under that kind of condition, brain cells begins to be impaired and irreversible destruction will follow within 2-3 minutes. A person in a vegetative state suffers from the destruction of brain cells in the cerebral cortex, but if destruction reaches the cerebrum, it causes brain death.

2. Lung and Oxygen

An average person breathes a volume of 450-500m1 per breath. And about 20% of it is oxygen. The lung always accommodates about 3,000ml of air. It keeps a constant amount(functional remaining amount=3,000m1), no matter how we breathe and acts as a kind of safety device, keeping the body from the sudden changes of the environment.

The blood circulated by the pumping pressure of the heart, goes in and out of the capillary vessels around the alveoli once every 2 or 3 minutes and the circulates all over the body.

III. MAJOR EFECTS OF OXYGEN

1. Alcohol and Oxygen (prevention and cure for a hangover)

Alcohol and oxygen have a very close connection. Two neuron psychiatrists in the í±û³ medical school of Tokyo at the first General Japanese Transportation Science Association held at the Welfare Pension Hall in Tokyo announced this interesting report.

They pointed out that the impaired function caused by drinking alcohol can be restored by oxygen inhalation. In other works, oxygen can reverse the effects of alcohol on the body.

The alcohol in liquor is dissolved into acetaldehyde. If it is redissolved, it is dissolved into carbonic acid and water. So when the alcohol gets dissolved; it needs 3 molecules of oxygen to dissolve one molecule of alcohol into carbonic acid and water The more one drinks, the more oxygen one needs.

If there is insufficient oxygen after drinking, acetaldehyde also remains undissolved. As a result, one gets a headache and an attack of vomiting.

Dr. çµÝ£ did an experiment with 20 students. He had them drink l80cc of whiskey for 30 minutes and checked the level of oxygen dissolved in blood. The level of oxygen dissolved in blood became generally lower after drinking than before drinking. Immediately, afterwards, the doctor had them inhale oxygen after 20 minutes This time, the level was much higher than immediately after drinking. Consequently, the theory that alcohol and oxygen has a very close connection is proved to be true.

He did another experiment with 20 people, giving them 180cc of whiskey, and checked the level of alcohol in blood and the level of dissolved oxygen under the same condition. The result was the same as the first experiment.

The experiment measuring brain waves bears the results of the significant connection between alcohol and oxygen. Brain wave measurements focused on the wave centered on a certain frequency, so that they could understand the correlation. According to the results, a waves of 11 to 13 cycle per second appeared in a stable state, but a waves of 8.5 to 11Hz appeared after drinking. The distribution of wave movements signifies impaired functioning of the brain. This phenomenon occurs 90 minutes after drinking. However, after we get oxygen, the first a wave begins to decrease while the a wave increases. That is, the brain restores itself to normal functioning ability. This normalization happens as soon as 1 to 2 minutes after inhalation of oxygen.

Next, they did an experiment measuring of the efficiency of 15 workers using a method known as the "New Bridan Test". The results were that 12 workers out of 15 increased the amount of work done temporarily, but started to get lazy and less talkative as time went by; the other three decreased the amount of work done since the start. After having them get pure oxygen 30 minutes after drinking, their work efficiency became better than usual.

Thus, the conclusions of the relationship between oxygen and alcohol are as follows:

  1. A hangover has a close relation with oxygen.
  2. An increase in oxygen can curb the rising blood alcohol level from drinking.
  3. An increase in oxygen can restore the impaired functioning of brain due to drinking alcohol.

I'm going to finish this chapter adding Dr. çÈÝ£'s reports.

"Because of the close relevance between alcohol and oxygen, I can conclude that inhaling oxygen is the best way of overcoming a hangover. For example, according to the present traffic laws, if one's blood alcohol level is below 0.05ml, he is not considered in violation of the law. However, it might be better to have him inhale oxygen to help him recover instead of allowing him to remain inebriated. Additionally, forcing drunken bus and taxi drivers to inhale oxygen through an oxygen mask would prevent car accidents dramatically. In saloons and bars with impure air, inhaling oxygen would decrease the number of fainting episodes and drunkenness by supplying them with pure air."

    2. Exhaust Fumes and Oxygen

In a place a great deal of exhaust fumes exist we often become faint or absent-minded. This was proved in an experiment by Dr. çÈÝ£Íë÷¼ÕÍ of Preparatory Medical Committee of Traffic Regulation. These are the same symptoms as seen in epilepsy or temporal poisoning caused by carbon monoxide. But it differs in that the effects can reversed by the inhalation of oxygen. Therefore, inhalation of pure oxygen should be considered a treatment for people under the influence of poisonous gases.

Drinking whiskey in high altitudes can make us feel faint, or absent-minded because of the lack of oxygen in our blood. From this, Dr. çµÝ£ theorized that exhaust fumes may have a similar influence.

To prove this, he measured brain waves. In a normal state, brain waves lie in 10Hz range, mainly as a waves. Additionally, lower wave d (delta waves: 0-4Hz) and higher waves b(beta waves: 10-20Hz) appear in an overlapping motion.

On the other hand, when we are asleep or unconscious, lower waves like d appear more often than a waves and d waves with a wave analyzer.

The experiment showed the effects of air on young male students who inhaled three kinds of air: normal indoor air, air from automobile exhausts, and air with pure oxygen.

The unoxygenated blood then goes into the lung and is reoxygenated. This time, the blood excretes carbon dioxide and other wastes, and is reoxygenate by fresh air from the alveoli. All the cells in the body need energy to do their function. In the Beta cells (a place to oxidize glucose and fat, and make energy) the food we eat combines with oxygen and is the source of energy of muscles so that the body can function.

When a body burns oxygen for energy, there are waste products. Carbon dioxide, which is make through the above process, has an effect on the brain, heart, and other organs. To protect the system from such effects, there needs to be an exchange of gas. The lung provides oxygen constantly, and the heart and other organs excrete carbonic acid in order to prevent the oxidization of blood. Through this action, fatigue is prevented and stamina increases. The standard breathing capacity of an average person is 500m1 in males and 450m1 in females.

    3. Functions of the Heart and Lungs and Oxygen

Man cannot survive if oxygen is not constantly provided to all 60 trillion cells of the body. The heart and lungs are responsible for supplying oxygen to the body.

The respiratory mechanism is composed of two symmetrical lungs and 700 lung cells. The oxygen in the vessels around the alveoli is sent to the body via blood flow whenever the heart pump.

The heart beats 70 times a minute, averaging 80 years. A heart never stops as long as it lives. While we are sleeping it constantly supplies blood all over the body. But its source of energy is nothing but oxygen absorbed from the arteries. Therefore, it is very important for the function of the heart and lungs to effectively circulate the blood.

Nevertheless, most modem men suffer form circulation problems due to the lack of exercise and a poor diet which make blood impure and oxidized.

Besides, cholesterol and wastes stick to the blood vessels. Impure blood is the origin of various chronic disease. But if a body is provided with fresh air, it energizes the function of heart and lungs and health is able to be recovered.

    4. Blood and Oxygen

If the blood vessel is compared to a railroad, blood is like a train. Its supplies are oxygen, nutrients, hormones, immune cells and wastes; its viscosity is about 5 times that of water. The total weight of blood in a body is 1/13 of body weight. The size of a disk-type red corpuscle is 7.7 microns in diameter, and 13,000 red blood corpuscles can fit in 1 square centimeter. And. in a cubic millimeter, there are 5 million red blood corpuscles in men and 4.5 million in women.

After 100 to 120 days after it's made the red corpuscle, is used up, turned to scraps(wastes), and excreted through the bowels. White blood corpuscles in 1 cubic millimeter of blood. Its life-span is about 10 days, but varies under different conditions. For example, the number of white blood cells in the circulation increases in the afternoon as well as after eating or exercising. After a bacteria infection, the number go up as well as in pregnancy or during delivery. As stated above1 the number of white blood cells vary depending upon the condition of the body, so that it stamps out bacteria and protects the body. The increase of oxygen in the blood means that red corpuscles(hemoglobin), the oxygen carries, are increased. If oxygen is increased1 the amount of oxygen supply increases so that a lot of blood flows through the blood vessels and washes cholesterol and other impurities that stick inside of blood vessels Therefore1 not only blood itself is purified, but also people can enjoy the fresh life.

The air mixed with exhaust gas was sampled when the cars drove at high speeds. The concentration of Carbon monoxide was 30ppm to l50ppm. After having the students inhale this air for 3 to 10 minutes, they found that a waves decreased and d waves increased, similar to brain wave pattern during unconsciousness. This is also the symptom seen during a state of drunkenness.

After the experiment, inhaling oxygen' brought opposite results on it; immediate increase in a waves and a decrease in d waves.

After doing the same experiment on those under the influence of alcohol, they found that brain waves normalized, but a waves and d waves were not higher or lower than that of a normal state. Furthermore, they investigated oxygen saturation and found that it went down 30% lower than the normal state. However, inhalation of oxygen increased the oxygen saturation its levels higher than that of the normal state.

If hemoglobin is combined with carbon monoxide, it requires 250 times more energy than the energy needed to separate oxygen from hemoglobin. That is why it is difficult to save the life of someone who has breathed a high concentration of carbon monoxide in accidents involving fire or gas leak,

"When a driver breathes exhaust fumes, it could cause trouble with consciousness, which often leads to traffic accidents." says Dr. çµÝ£.

    3. Smoking and Oxygen

As the study of the harmful effects of smoking developed, the fact that it can lower athletic ability became well known. It's common knowledge that athletes should not smoke. For example, climbers do not smoke or drink a week before climbing. Why is smoking harmful?

A burning cigarette contains some 4,000 kinds of harmful materials such as nicotine, tar, carbon, monoxide, and smoke. The carbon monoxide levels in cigarettes are the same levels as in exhaust fumes, which is above the standard of environment. Carbon monoxide interferes with the circulation of oxygen and the bond with hemoglobin is 200 times stranger than with oxygen. As a result air with carbon monoxide comes into the lungs prevents oxygen from binding hemoglobin. Carbon monoxide combines with hemoglobin, leading to decrease in the oxygen-moving ability of hemoglobin. Furthermore, hemoglobin combined with carbon monoxide interrupts the action.

Carbon monoxide also combines with "myoglobin" - a protein similar to hemoglobin, which absorbs oxygen and saves it in the heart muscles and irritates the interior respiratory muscles.

Likewise, a chain smoker is doubly or triply deprived of oxygen supply by inhaling the carbon monoxide from the cigarettes. For instance, a chain smoker smokes a pack of cigarettes a day, the hemoglobin rate with carbon monoxide in the blood goes up to 3-6 of the whole hemoglobin rate. Right after smoking, the rate sometimes is increase to over 10%. In contrast to the non- smoker, the hemoglobin rate is only 2~3%.

Smoking cigarettes is disrupting the normal amount of oxygen supply, necessary for normal body function. The nicotine increases the pulse rate which makes a greater demand of oxygen to the heart muscles. But at the same time, it constricts the blood vessels. When the blood vessels are constricted, the blood flow is getting poor and the oxygen distribution in all systems is inadequate from its demand. Besides, it contains various pungent materials, too

If all of these pungent materials come in to the body, the body' S reaction is resulted to constriction of the bronchus. And it bocks the, flow of oxygen distribution to the lungs. In such case, smoker is not exempted of having a chr9nical deficient of oxygen.

    4. Hypertension and Oxygen

Breathing activity functions unconsciously, But there is a related pattern of activity between respiration and blood pressure. Normally, a healthy man breathes 12-13 times per minute in a regular rhythm. On the other hand, a man with high blood pressure, especially those who are easily stressed, is elevated to one-third from its normal rate, respiration is exceedingly fast arid the rhythm is also irregular. As we study about the blood pressure and breathing, we conclude that high blood pressure can be stabilized by inhaling enough amount of oxygen.

This mechanism is not well-proven scientifically, but the following inferences make possible proofs.

    By inhaling oxygen,

    1. It has an effect on the central nervous system, the controller of the blood pressure.
    2. It expands the blood vessel by an automatic nerve activity.
    3. It increases the activity of hemoglobin which carries oxygen in the blood.
Hemoglobin can transport oxygen depending on the blood pH. If blood pH decreases even in a little amount, it is an 8ppropriate condition for hemoglobin in transporting oxygen in all body system. Then oxygen supply is increased and the expansion of the blood vessels are accordingly accelerated. In such condition, all the organs and the system of the body can work in its function normally and it has a good effect on the blood pressure.

    5. Diabetes and Oxygen

The diabetic remedy is generally categorized into three parts: diet, exercise, and medical treatment. Among them, exercise is aerobic in technical term, which means exercise with the presence of free-oxygen supply.

If a person does on a light and moderate exercise, such as talking while doing exercise for a certain time, the blood sugar or the neutral fat level in the blood is decreased. But the vigorous exercise, like 100 meter short distance race is done for a short time holding a breath without oxygen supply so it is called anaerobic exercise. While doing this exercise, the blood sugar level is increased.

In anaerobic, the glycogen in the muscles is used up as the source of energy. On the "5 other hand, in aerobic, the blood sugar or tile neutral fat in the blood is the main source of energy with the presence of oxygen. Therefore, the blood sugar level is naturally decreased.

Diabetic happens when the insulin, a hormone needed in providing sugar to the cell, lacks absolutely or relatively than a normal person. Usually, when the blood sugar is used up, a certain amount of insulin is scarcely needed. It is assumed that blood circulation becomes active and the insulin is easily stick to the cells, or insulin itself is activated and the oxygen functions increased, so the density of blood sugar or neutral fat is decreased.

    6. Stamina and Oxygen

When people reach their 40's, sometimes they're easily tired and bored. They sigh, and say, "Oh, I'm getting old". This is the red light which tells us that we need to retrain our bodies. When people think of such training, they usually think of exercise. How can exercise help the body to keep us fit and healthy? It is through the oxygen that we can inhale and exhale adequately is a great factor to be considered.

We need energy to move our bodies. There are two kinds 'of energy.

    1. Aerobic energy - it is not produced without oxygen
    2. Anaerobic energy - it is produced without oxygen
An energy which is produced without oxygen is used for sudden and with muscular exertion activities. It is strong but the durability is very short. It lasts only for 1-2 minutes. When time is over, the lactic acid, an element which cause fatigue, will be produced accumulated in the body so this energy will be dried up soon.

But if the oxygen is immediately provided this moment, the lactic acid will be easily dissolved and reproduced as the new source of energy. This is called aerobic energy. That is, through oxygen we can keep our stamina longer.

Aerobic power means the power, which delivers oxygen in the body. Generally speaking, as we start to move from the still condition, we start to breathe more. The more we move, the more we breathe. But when it reaches to an ultimate point1 the oxygen capacity is not increase even in strenuous exercise. This point is called "maximum oxygen intake."

It means that the bigger the maximum of oxygen intake is, the higher aerobic power has. When the aerobic power is strong and the oxygen is provided sufficiently, more energy is produced and the stamina is prolonged. Also, when oxygen is smoothly absorbed to the body, and it means the function of the heart and lungs are in normal. Therefore, the pumping of a heart is getting smooth and the pulse rhythm is regular. Cardiac Output is improved.

Aerobic energy is different from anaerobic energy so it takes time to make the activity active. So the training in using anaerobic energy is needed for that lapse. If a person, who usually does not do exercise, suddenly jump rope, he cannot continue then even for a minute. It means that anaerobic energy reaches to the limit before the aerobic is discharged.

It is very important to breathe enough oxygen to keep healthy.

Table 4: NHK / Findings: After Jump Rope for 5 minutes
    Pulse Rate

Normal before inhaling oxygen after inhaling Oxygen
    78 154 about 120

    7. Skin and Oxygen (natural beauty care which is done in body)

Through the pores or the sebaceous gland on the skin, moisture or fat is continually excreted in the body. That is, the needless wastes in the body is continually excreted gradually to adjust the outer changes.: The skin is excreting carbonic acid gas, too, through skin breathing. If we breathe enough fresh air, it accelerated the metabolism of all organs of the cells and excretes the accumulated gas (carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, etc.) and other wastes products. Therefore, all the functions of the body is controlled in balance. Enough inhalation if oxygen makes skin smooth and good complexion. This is the natural secret that is done in the body.

    IV. OXYGEN AND HEALTH

Astronauts say that their brains seem to work considerably faster in space, because inhaling 100% pure oxygen activates brain cells more than usual. For the benefit of mankind, astronauts work in space inhaling pure oxygen. However modern men, who ought to be enjoying the benefits of civilization, are tottering and soaking with chemicals in the jostling life of the city. Air pollution is accelerated by deforesting a large oxygen factory recklessly. Modern structures are mostly gray concrete masses blocked on all sides, and air circulation' is poor. Moreover, air conditioners make thing worse. Besides, modern men cannot help having synthetic food coloring and preservatives in every meal and it overtaxes their digestive system. A body needs a great deal of oxygen: heart malfunction caused by the lack of exercise weakens the breathing activity and causes hypoxemia which is the very origin of all disease. The ecosystem is already deteriorated because of the modem civilization. But still we need fresh air and oxygen for health sake. So, the Oxygen producer could be a great help to recover and meet the physiologic demand of the body.

    1. For the Drinkers

Brain is the most sensitive organ in the body to the inefficient oxygen supply. If a man drinks, oxygen in the body should be consumed a lot to dissolve the accumulated alcohol and the brain is put in a hypoxemic condition. Breathing oxygen in drunken state, one's consciousness is normalized and attentiveness is improved. It sounds like an exaggeration that a portable oxygen producer(oxygen inhaler) is the preservative of drunken driving, but it is assured that if a man uses it before going to bed at drunken night, or in the next morning while he is still in a hangover, he can enjoy the day.

    2. For The Drivers Who Is Suffering From Harmful Fumes

Among the harmful fumes which give bad effects on human bodies, carbon monoxide is exceedingly harmful to the brain. For example, breathing with polluted air while going through a tunnel in a downtown area, the saturation degree of oxygen supply in blood is declined or decreased. In worse case1 it results in feeling bad or headaches. At this moment, inhaling oxygen refreshes the body. Because a great deal of oxygen inhalation instantly takes off the carbon monoxide, which strongly sticks to hemoglobin's and disturbs the oxygen activity, and changes to the fresh oxygenated blood. Sleepiness driving from harmful fumes, headaches, inhalation problem can be favorably improved by oxygen inhalation.

    3. For the Examinees and the Workers Who Overstrain the Brain

Oxygen refreshes the stuffed brain in the closed place like the library by air-conditioning and it maximizes the efficiency of studying and keeps healthfulness. Therefore, it will be the necessity for the examinees who study far into the night for the college entrance examination, and also for the tired workers from night duties.

    4. The Epochal Preventive Measure of Dementia

There is an assertion that oxygen inhalation could give a great effect on the prevention of the senile dementia. Among the symptoms of hypoxemia easily found in modern societies, it is the senile dementia what is remarkably noticed. There are two kinds of senility, cerebra vascular dementia and senile psychosis. According to the record certified in ease of senile psychosis or primary degenerative dementia patient, the amount of the blood flow has been considerably decreased and, at the same time1 the amount of oxygen in the blood also has been lower comparing to the healthy old at the same age. Dr.çµÝ£Íë÷¼ÕÍ, who has studied about the effect of the oxygen on the body for a long time, presented the result of his study about the relation between senile dementia and the lack of oxygen as follows: "For example there is a symptom called "night-dementia". That is, they are normal during the day time, but when the night comes, at a certain time, they are extremely changed and become very active. Such case is that the patient suddenly gets up or acts excitingly in the middle of the night. This is "night-dementia." But if the oxygen is provided to the patient in the evening, this case can be prevented.

There is a rhythm in our bodies between day and night. During the night time, the frequency of breathing and pulse is getting low. But, to the old, the minimum need of oxygen to reach the normal sleep is not sufficiently provided to the brain so "night-dementia" is occurred. Therefore, inhaling oxygen, it really works. The study about the senile dementia has not gone far enough to reach the complete conclusion. But it is really true that: the attentiveness is highly improved if oxygen inhalation is continued for the designated period. Because it makes the consciousness more clear.

    5. For Those who Are Suffering From Stress And Insomnia

What is a striking fact of oxygen and health is that oxygen is very effective in relieving stress. The stress in modern societies is not only for the businessman.

Even housewives and children get: stressed much by various stimulation or psychological phenomena, etc.. Even at night stress is often continues and makes people sleepless or stimulation lasts. If oxygen is provided at this moment, it helps to relax and sleep.

Then, is there any influence like a sedative in oxygen? Why don't we think of the relation between stress and oxygen?

In case of deep breathing, it helps people calm down. That is, oxygen inhalation helps to relax. Relaxation means that: the pulse is getting slow and the blood pressure is decreased within 2-3 minutes. Therefore, it is much more effective in relaxing stress by inhaling oxygen and normalizing naturally without any side-effect than by using the sedatives to get blood pressure or pulse decreased.

    6. For Providing Oxygen For the Pregnant Woman

The pregnant woman breathes and lives together with the fetus. Everything is for two. Therefore, if there is sufficient oxygen supplied to the pregnant woman, blood circulation is so active that nutritive substances which is provided with fresh blood, are equally shared with the fetus and the mother. Oxygen is an effective and safe agent to keep fetus and mother's nutrition and health.

    7. For the Skin Beauty

The beauty effect of oxygen has already been a "hot issue," in cosmetic business. "Oxygen Beauty....", "Lady like' fresh alr...." etc.. The inhalation of the fresh oxygen energizes the cells and it keeps healthy body and elastic skin. Also, if the oxygen coming from the portable oxygen inhaler is directly input to the water when washing a face or taking a bath, the considerable amount of the input oxygen will be melt so it brings a direct oxygen supply to skin. Therefore, the skin which is tired from the pollution and stress shall recover from its elasticity and the complexion.

    8. For the Athletes and the Active Performers

In Japan, a lot of people as athletes, singers, movie stars, stage actors already use this portable oxygen producer to keep not only their health but also their popularity. Also Michael Jackson1 the world famous pop singer, always keeps his condition with "oxygen inhalation method" during his performance or trips abroad Oxygen can immediately recovers fatigue after exercise, calms down the pulse and activates blood circulation and it generates vigor and energy.

    * Long Inhalation of Oxygen is Safe?

Some of you may think that it is not good for health to inhale oxygen for a long time. But for individual who has a normal blood pressure it does not make sense that he inhales so much oxygen and it is over-absorbed to the body. There is a case called hyperventilation, but it is just a side-effect of respiratory alkalosis when a premature infant breathes high pressure oxygen under the high pressure condition for a long time as 48 or 72 hours, or a diver dives breathing oxygen for many hours in the sea where the water pressure is high.

    CONCLUS ION

To live healthy is the desire of all human beings. But health is always threatens by the pollution and the destruction of ecosystem. This is the reality. So the modern men's efforts to keep their health is really pathetic. Everybody breathes but always forget about its existence.... Oxygen, it is the breakthrough itself.

If there is a patient with an emergency case, people usually put an oxygen mask first. Because oxygen is the origin of life and it is also the origin of health. For getting rid of stress in improving the score of examinee, preventing dementia, keeping the pregnant woman's health and beauty care, enough supply of oxygen keeps the valuable health.

However, the air is getting polluted everyday. The warning board of air pollution which is hanging in the middle of a big city shows the air we breathe turns to the dead gas by our mistakes. But we cannot carry an air container on our back or wear a gas mask everywhere. Here we recommend "THE PORTABLE OXYGEN PRODUCER" as the alternative. Our body requires oxygen. For the most economic and effective health care, we recommend oxygen for your HEALTHY LIFE.
